Why become a member of the Anchorage Senior Activity Center (ASAC)?
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of Alaskans by promoting fitness, health and wellness, and social interaction.
We offer a safe, friendly environment for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, color, race, nationality, or religion. Membership is available for anyone 18 years and older. Our programs and services are geared towards those 50 and older but welcome intergenerational guests.
Annual memberships are good for twelve months. Lifetime memberships are one payment based on your age and are available to anyone 50 and older.
ASAC members can join the ASAC Fitness Department by paying an additional monthly fee. This fee encompasses the provision of fitness staff and professional instructors who are available onsite to assist members in their fitness journey. For further information, please visit the Fitness page.

People 50 and older
You can participate in the Center's policymaking through committee membership and the annual election process.

Couples
For two people living at the same address.
You will receive one newsletter, and you can join Center committees but not the annual election process.

Associate
Anyone 18 through 49 years older.
You can join Center committees but not the annual election process.

Reduced
For those on a limited budget, we offer a discounted membership.
To qualify for this type of membership, please bring proof of income to either the Membership or Accounting Departments

Lifetime Memberships
If you would like to make a life-long commitment, we offer a Lifetime Membership for those 50 years or older.
Rates are based on your age. For two people at the same address, add your current ages, then divide by two and find that number in the Age Range Column.
