The Center operates mostly through revenue it generates. The Municipality of Anchorage provides a grant to fund approximately 1/3 of the operating cost. Much of the day to day operation cost is raised by the gift shop, restaurant, and space rentals. Private donations play a key supporting role in keeping the Center open to Seniors. Any donation made is much appreciated.
The Endowment Fund looks to future to provide operating money when other revenue sources are in short supply. Any donation made to the Endowment is held in the fund forever. The earnings of the Fund can be used to support the Center. A donation to the Endowment Fund is a guarantee the Center will be there for future generations of Seniors.
